Since 1921

In 1921, the Empresa Industrial Sampedro, S.A. began working as a manufacturer of linen for bed and tablecloths.It gradually widened its production range to cotton, polyester/cotton and other fibres, including the manufacture of terry clothes fabric.

 

Today Sampedro is one of Europe's biggest manufacturer for the hotel sector, with products for the bedroom, dining room, bathroom and others, and is without any doubt one of the leading companies in Portuguese textiles manufacturing.

 

With a modern plant equipped according with the most demanding requirements of the sector, Sampedro invested from the start in a wide range of products with a strong commitment towards innovation/development/ design, while always striving to ensure the quality of the final product, an excellent quality/price ratio, efficiency in channelling its investment into industrial modernisation and a faultless service provided to the customer.

 

Industrial facilities covering 25.000 sqm housed in a total area of 60.000 sqm.Technologically equipped to execute all operations from the creation of prototypes to the finishing touches, the plant is runned by a team of textile professionals and technicians who combine accumulated experience and modern technology.
