In 1921, the Empresa Industrial Sampedro, S.A. began working as a manufacturer of linen for bed and tablecloths.

It gradually widened its production range to cotton, polyester/cotton and other fibres, including the manufacture of terry clothes fabric.

Today Sampedro is one of Europe’s biggest manufacturer for the hotel sector, with products for the bedroom, dining room, bathroom and others, and is without any doubt one of the leading companies in Portuguese textiles manufacturing.
